The above skipper was captured in my bedroom in the late evening of August 2015. It was released after the pictures were taken.
As I did not think it was the right thing to break open the caterpillars' enclosed leaf shelter just to take a few pictures and thereafter put them in danger, I can only have a peak on them from the small openings of their hideout. The unique host plant is Arthrophyllum diversifolium (Common Ivy Palm).
This lone pupa was seen hanging from the leaf of a Ficus fistulosa (Common Yellow Stem Fig).
